Giggleswick is a small village, just half a mile from the traditional market town of Settle.
Supermarkets, shops, restaurants and pubs are within walking distance.
There are excellent walks to be found in the surrounding countryside.
Giggleswick makes an excellent base to tour the Yorkshire Dales, The Lake District,
and the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, or travel on the world famous Settle-Carlisle railway.
The bustling Dales market town of Skipton is just 15 miles away.
The spectacular scenery and limestone pavements at nearby Malham Cove, or the Ingleton Waterfalls are just two of the many interesting walks to be enjoyed in the region.
You may fancy a picturesque moorland drive into Wensleydale and the market town of Hawes.
This will take you past the towering, 24 arch, Ribblehead Viaduct.
The Wensleydale Creamery is open to visitors, and well worth a visit.
Also in Wensleydale you can see a restored water powered woodworking mill in action at Gayle Mill.
The energetic may wish to tackle the world famous Three Peaks Walk.
